Let’s talk about everyone’s first question…
Can Christians have demons?

Yes, and here’s the Biblical backing for this…

A lot of believers would quickly say no. Usually, two main arguments are given. First, Ephesians 1:13–14 says we belong to God so how could we belong to God and have a demon at the same time? Second, 2 Corinthians 6:14 says light and darkness have no fellowship. If the Holy Spirit lives in us, wouldn’t that automatically mean demons have to leave? But when we slow down and look at Scripture more closely, the issue isn’t ownership. The Greek word often translated “demon-possessed” (daimonizomai) doesn’t actually mean owned by a demon. It simply describes someone who has a demon; someone who is being tormented, troubled, or influenced. The Bible doesn’t use ownership language there. That’s why many prefer the word demonized.

A Christian absolutely belongs to God, but that doesn’t automatically mean they can’t be spiritually oppressed or influenced in areas of their life.

The idea that the Holy Spirit’s presence makes demonic influence impossible also sounds right at first, but Scripture shows it’s more complex than that. God is holy, yes, but He’s also omnipresent. He’s present in this broken world.

Jesus, who is fully God, stood face to face with Satan in the wilderness.
In Job 1, Satan appears before God in heaven.

Clearly, darkness can exist in the presence of light, even though they are completely opposed to one another.

In the New Testament, we also see moments that challenge our assumptions.

Judas had Satan enter him while sitting with Jesus (John 13:27).
In Acts 5:3, Peter asks Ananias why Satan had filled his heart.
Paul and John both tell believers to test the spirits (1 Corinthians 12:3; 1 John 4:1–3).

That instruction only makes sense if influence and deception are real possibilities.

When we look at who Jesus actually delivered, many were covenant people; men and women who worshiped Yahweh! In Luke 13:10–17, Jesus frees a woman He calls a “daughter of Abraham” who had been bound by Satan for eighteen years. She was a worshiper, yet she was still bound and Jesus had to command the spirit to leave.

Throughout the Gospels and Acts, people come toward Jesus in faith and still need deliverance. The early church understood this reality too. So yes, Christians can experience demonic oppression. But this isn’t meant to create fear… it’s meant to create hope.

Jesus has already overcome the powers of darkness. And in His name, freedom is available.

Do You have to belong to a certain denomination to have a Deliverance session?

Nope! You don’t have to belong to a certain denomination to work with me. If you believe in your heart and confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and that God raised Him from the dead (Romans 10:9), that’s what matters. We may come from different church backgrounds, but our foundation is the same…. Jesus Christ.

All I ask is that you’re willing to pursue real change and stand firmly on the Word of God. Deliverance isn’t about hype or labels, it’s about surrender, obedience, and allowing the Holy Spirit to lead the process. If you’re hungry for freedom and committed to walking in truth, you’re welcome here.

What does a session look like?

A deliverance session with me (and my team) is simple, prayerful, and completely Spirit-led.

From the very beginning, we stand in the authority Jesus has given us and invite the Holy Spirit to lead every step. We keep the atmosphere calm and focused on Christ. If there is any demonic presence, we command it to be subject to Jesus… no causing harm, no using your voice box, no creating chaos. This isn’t dramatic or performative. Jesus is in charge, and peace matters.

We gently walk through a process of discernment together. We ask questions and “test” what is present. If anything other than the Holy Spirit responds, we identify what it is and whether it has any legal ground in your life. Often this is where forgiveness, repentance, renouncing lies, and blessing others becomes really important. Many times spirits operate in groups, so we also discern if there is a leader at work. Once ground is removed and doors are closed, we command the spirit to go where Jesus sends it and continue the process as needed.

Our sessions look nothing like what you may have seen in movies or online. There is no hype, no shouting for show, and no loss of control. It is a safe space where we partner with Jesus and follow His lead. Your freedom is found in Christ alone, we simply walk with you as He brings truth, healing, and freedom.

Sessions are always free.

Should I come for a session?

If you thought you might be sick but weren’t sure, and you went to the doctor who said, “You’re healthy—no need for further testing,” you’d be glad you went. And if you went and the doctor said, “You’re right, we need to run some tests,” you’d also be glad you checked it out. Either way, you’d be thankful you looked into it.

It’s similar with deliverance. If we walk through a session and there’s no demonic presence, we simply spend time with Jesus in prayer. If something is present, we partner with Jesus, command it to leave, and then spend time with Him in prayer.

Either way, it’s time spent with Jesus and you’ll be glad you came.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • It’s absolutely free. You should never be charged for freedom, Jesus already paid the price!

  • No, possession implies ownership. If you are a born again Christian, your life belongs to the Lord! We use the word “demonized”. They are there, often without grounds - they just haven’t been kicked out!

  • Specific, unconfessed sin. If something demonic has grounds in your life, you’ll most likely need to do some forgiveness work, bless somebody or renounce something from your bloodline, sometimes all three.

  • Everyone is different. Some people only need 1 session, some people need 2-5. There is no magic formula, no right answer here. Start by booking 1 session, and we’ll go from there!

  • Our process looks a lot different than what you’ve seen in the movies. We have been given authority in Christ, and we stand in it!

So no, it doesn’t look like the exorcist. But demons are real and sometimes they do manifest in different ways.

  • Nothing is mandatory, but if you’d like to fast and pray leading up to your session it can be helpful. Ask the Lord to show you anything ahead of time that you need to deal with. Follow the leading of the Holy Spirit.

  • Often times demons will cause you to have anxiety or stress before a session. They are comfortable and don’t want to leave! If you feel unsure, let’s meet to pray together and see what Jesus wants to do. Obey Jesus, not your emotions.

  • You are welcome to attend the session with a family member or close friend with you. As long as you are willing to be 100% transparent in front of this person. Demons don’t care about your privacy, I do. If having someone with you will make you less honest or forthcoming, they should not attend.

A Few Testimonials

(During Prayer) “I entered the waters and walked over to Jesus. He had the most loving and inviting face, but He wasn’t gesturing for me to come… it was up to me. I walked over to Him, stayed standing, and hugged Him. While we were hugging, He whispered in my ear, “both have the most amazing Father.” In that moment, I felt him heal my earthly Father wound.”
